2022 NCAC Swimming & Diving Championships

Fast times will be posted at the 2021-22 North Coast Athletic Conference Swimming & Diving Championships, set for February 12-15 at the Trumbull Aquatics Center on the campus of Denison University in Granville, Ohio.

The championship kicks off with three events - Men's and Women's 800 free relays and Men's three-meter diving - on Wednesday evening at 6:30 p.m. Thursday through Saturday prelimiaries begin at 9:30 a.m. Finals sessions begin at 6:00 p.m. each evening. Diving will also be contested each afternoon between swim sessions.

Spectator doors open at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday; and at 8:00 a.m. for morning sessions and 4:30 p.m. for evening sessions Thursday through Saturday. 

** Again this year: Championship merchandise will be sold online through the NCAC Squadlocker store. The championship merchandise link will be available closer to the meet!

The Kenyon men and the Denison women are defending champions. Overall, Kenyon has won 24 men's and 26 women's championships of the 36 NCAC titles contested. The Denison men are the only team to defeat Kenyon at the NCAC meet, claiming titles in 1997, and 2009-2019. Kenyon recalimed the title in 2020. The Denison women snapped the Ladies' 19-year hold on the league crown in 2004, with KC regaining control of the title from 2005-08, leading to DU's run of seven straight from 2009-2015. The Ladies won the championship in 2016, 2018 and 2019; The Big Red raised the trophy in 2017 and 2020.

Founded in 1983, the North Coast Athletic Conference consists of 10 academically selective colleges and universities - Allegheny College, Denison University, DePauw University, Hiram College, Kenyon College, Oberlin College, Ohio Wesleyan University, Wabash College, Wittenberg University and the College of Wooster along with affiliate member Earlham College (field hockey). The NCAC sponsors 23 championship sports, 11 for men and 12 for women.

Restrictions

The North Coast Athletic Conference and the NCAA promote good sportsmanship by student-athletes, coaches and spectators. We request your cooperation by supporting the participants and officials in a positive manner. Profanity, racial or sexist comments, or other intimidating actions directed at officials, student-athletes, coaches, or team representatives are grounds for removal from the site of competition and other disciplinary actions.

Public intoxication, the consumption or possession of alcoholic beverages, the use of tobacco products, and artificial noisemakers  are not permitted at NCAC events, nor at Denison University facilities. Glass containers and balloons are not permitted in Trumbull Aquatics Center and no signs are permitted to be hung in the facility.

A limit of six All-Session passes may be purchased per transaction. All-Session wrist bands must be worn at all times. Replacement wrist bands shall not be issued. Wrist bands are to be worn only by the ticket bearer and cannot be transferred to other parties.

Patrons that are not in compliance with these policies shall be removed from the site of competition and denied readmittance.

Please note that there shall be no assigned seats in the Aquatics Center; Additionally saving seats between sessions will not be permitted. 

COVID-19:

  • All campus visitors are required to be vaccinated and should be prepared to show proof of vaccination to gain admission to indoor athletics events.

  • All campus visitors are required to wear masks indoors at all times unless eating and drinking.

  • Children under the age of 12 will be admitted without proof of vaccination provided they wear a mask at all times.

  • Event refunds will be provided for COVID-related interruptions.
